New Beginners Class Taught in English
Lessons take place in the small pool. Age 18–65+ years.
This class is for adults who have never learned to swim or who feel uncomfortable in the water. The goal is to create confidence, safety, and trust in the water.
Lessons take place at a calm pace with focus on:
Becoming comfortable in the waterFloating and moving in the waterBasic swimming techniques (e.g. freestyle/crawl and backstroke)Breathing and relaxation in the waterConfidence and water safetyNo previous experience is required — we meet you where you are and adapt the teaching to your needs and pace.
Long-term goals:
Feeling comfortable and confident in the waterFloating on both front and back without supportKicking on your front and back whilst holding a kick-boardLearning basic side breathing in freestyle/crawlNote that payment covers membership of Svømmeklubben MK31 and not a specific class. Please note that changes in coaching staff may occur during the season.
